Lake County Stars (8u-14u)

Registration is OPEN for the Spring/Summer 2027 season! Read this information, then click the register button at the bottom/right of this page.

Registration is free, and is NOT a commitment for next season. It's just so we know you're interested.

When you're ready to register, please:

  1. Click on the "Register" button on the right side of this page.
  2. Create an account (or sign in if you already have a Crossbar account). Note: This step just gets you into your Crossbar account, you'll need to complete the rest of the steps to get registered for tryouts.
  3. Add a new player to your account, or choose an existing player to register.
  4. Add any parent/guardian contacts for your player in the Connected Accounts section of the registration, and confirm your other info.
  5. Complete the Liability Waiver electronic signature.
  6. Complete the rest of the registration questions.
  7. In the pricing section, choose Tryouts ($0.00).
  8. Click the Complete Registration button.


That's it! Once you've completed the registration, you will receive a confirmation email.

SPRING/SUMMER 2027

October 2026 through July 2027

Tryouts dates for our Lake County Stars youth program will be communicated soon via email to those who register, and are typically in late June / early July.

If you're already in the Lake County Stars youth program, you still need to register, but you usually won't need to attend a tryout.

Typical Activity Calendar

August - October: optional fall baseball may be available depending on interest at each age level. Fall baseball is not necessarily with the same team/coach as your spring/summer team. Interest in fall ball will be gathered separately to players who have accepted offers for the spring/summer season.

October - December: the Stars Clubhouse is available year-round for individual use for rostered players, and in the fall we offer individual lessons, group clinics, and other training sessions.

January - April: indoor youth team practices at the Stars Clubhouse.

April (weather pending) - July: Outdoor practices can begin when the weather allows usually in April, with the league games and tournament season running through July.
