Thank you for considering supporting the Lake County Stars! Lake County Stars travel baseball offers both Youth and High School-level programs. Our Youth program consists of teams at the 8U - 14U levels. Our High School program includes 15U - 18U teams. In 2024, “Stars Nation” will field at least 24 teams with nearly 400 players and their families.

The goal of our program is to teach boys the baseball and life skills that they need to succeed – first through the Youth program, then in High School and beyond. The Stars program includes players from area communities including Antioch, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Cary, Deerfield, Deer Park, Fox Lake, Grayslake, Gurnee, Hawthorn Woods, Highland Park, Kildeer, Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Long Grove, McHenry, Lake Villa, Deerfield, Lindenhurst, Mt. Prospect, Mundelein, Northbrook, Palatine, Vernon Hills, Round Lake, Round Lake Beach, Volo, Wauconda and Wheeling.

Some of the outstanding attributes of the Stars program are:

• We are led by independent coaches with professional or college experience;
• Our coaches make all baseball decisions regarding the players and the game; and
• We emphasize instruction and growth – we are about teaching, in addition to managing.

We offer several levels of sponsorship and benefit opportunities described in the attached sponsor opportunity flyer. Your contribution helps local boys play baseball! The Stars offer scholarships to families who need financial assistance and otherwise may not be able to participate in travel baseball. A portion of your donation goes directly to funding these player scholarships! Your contribution also helps the Stars enter local leagues and tournaments; defray the costs of uniforms and practice gear; pay for time at indoor practice facilities; and support field maintenance and improvements.

Businesses can either SPONSOR a family which is a 50/50 split with the Stars and allows for access to all the levels of Sponsor benefits OR they can make a DONATION directly to a specific team(to offset the costs of an out of town tournament-not offsetting fees) which goes 100% to that team and does not allow for access to the Sponsorship benefits.

Parents/families of Stars players, you also have an opportunity to support the Stars while offsetting a portion of your program fees. If your business would like to be a sponsor, 50% of your contribution would be directly applied as a credit towards your program fees. The other 50% goes to the Stars as described above. Your business would get sponsor benefits that correspond to the Stars’ portion of your contribution. For example, if your business contributes $1,000, you’d get a $500 credit on your player’s program fees (for 1 player), and $500 goes to the Stars. Your business would get “The Double” sponsor level benefits. It’s a win-win!
