2027 Lake County Stars Tryouts

Ready to become part of Stars Nation?

The Lake County Stars are excited to begin the process of building our teams for the 2027 season. Whether you're a current player or are interested in joining our program for the first time, the first step is simple:

Registration is completely free and is not a commitment to play with the Stars. It simply lets us know that you're interested and ensures that you'll receive important information regarding tryouts, roster opportunities, and next steps for the 2027 season.

Current Stars Players

One of the benefits of being part of the Stars family is that most current players will not need to attend a tryout for the following season. We view the work you've already put in throughout practices, games, tournaments, and training as your evaluation.

Most returning players will receive an offer for the 2027 season before tryouts for new players begin. These offers may be team-specific or general, as roster movement can occur within age groups from year to year.

New Players

If you're new to the Stars, we would love the opportunity to see what you can do. Our tryouts are designed to evaluate players in a positive, competitive environment where our coaches can assess baseball skills, athletic ability, work ethic, attitude, and overall fit within the Stars program.

All players interested in trying out must complete the online registration process before attending.

After Tryouts

Players who are selected for a roster spot will receive an offer to join the Stars for the 2027 season. Once an offer is accepted and the required deposit is submitted, that roster spot is secured.

Because roster spots are limited, offers will not remain open indefinitely. We encourage families to respond promptly so we can finalize teams and begin preparing for another great year of Stars baseball.
