Letter from the President - February 2026
Hello Stars Nation!
It's my favorite time of year at our facility with both high school and youth programs using it for practice. Please make sure that when you are in the facility that you throw away any garbage, pick up stray baseballs and do anything you can to keep our facility clean. We take great pride in our facility and it definitely takes a village to make sure it works for everyone! It is great to see both our loyal, longtime families mixed in with so many new talented players! I love seeing our 13U and older teams doing their strength and agility training with Tactic, our next door partner. This will make a huge difference in what these teams can do on the field! Our current coaches and leadership team are the most talented group that I have ever had the privilege to work with. All of this really puts the Stars in the best position we have ever been in as a program!
I wanted to thank everyone for your interest in the upcoming Stars night at the Chicago Wolves game! You all purchased 142 tickets, so we will be strongly represented at the game. I can't wait to see a lot of you at Wolves Night Out!

SPONSORSHIPS: As a reminder, we offer a great sponsorship program. This can be used to offset player fees or help cover costs of an out of town tournament. Even if you are paid in full, we can credit you back for a sponsorship you bring in at any time during the season. We are also a 501(c)3 so donations are tax deductible. SCHEDULING: For HS Teams, please reach out to your coaches if you have not yet gotten your summer tournament schedule. For Youth teams, you should have your tournament schedules already and league game sign up will be done by your coach by the end of February.
PICTURE DAY: For Youth is on April 12. More information to follow but hold the date for now.
FUNDRAISER: All youth teams should be working on their fundraising requirement (due by 4/1). Please talk to your team parent about information on this if you are not aware of it. As a reminder, all money raised from this goes 100% directly back to the facility for equipment/repairs.
CLUBHOUSE RESERVATIONS: We have a new way to sign up for families to use the Clubhouse on their own, here use this link to reserve your spot: Reservations are required for all cage use: https://www.lakecountystars.org/dashboard/bookings. As a reminder, our facility is only for current Stars players and their families. Players may NOT bring in other players who are not Stars or coaches for lessons who are not on Stars staff.
