Scrimmages / Fall Games
Families/coaches are responsible for fees associated with umpires and field prep for scrimmages/practice games during the regular season, and any games/scrimmages during fall baseball. For an ump and field prep, it's typically around $150 total. Each player/family can chip in a few dollars to pay for this.
It's always a FREE option to rake up the field yourself (most fields have rakes), and have a parent or coach umpire from behind the pitcher.
Field Prep
IN SEASON OR FALL BASEBALL
The Stars use the company Thunderstruck Enterprises (formerly known as Terrain Group) for field prep during the year. You can arrange field prep and payment directly with them (815-648-2163) and the fee is typically $60.
Since this is the company we use to do all of the field setup for our games, they are familiar with our locations, etc. They will prep the field, set bases/mounds, put down chalk lines, batters boxes, etc.
Umpires
IN SEASON
Starting in 2023, we are using the company Official Finders to secure umpires for our home games. We can help you find an ump for your scrimmage if you don't have one on your own.

Cost for a "regular" ump is $85 per game, but we may be able to work with Official Finders to provide less experienced or umpires in training at a lower cost for scrimmages.
