Some updates, some thanks, a registration link for next season and more ...

Phil Carona, President

Hello Stars Nation!

I have really been enjoying coming to as many games as I can this spring. I love seeing your boys in action and many of them have grown so much skill wise just over the last few weeks. I try to get to multiple games a week and watch even more on game changer, but if there is a particular game you want me to come to, please let me know and I will do my best to be there.

Thank you to our AMAZING and DEDICATED coaches and team parents. We at the STARS could not function without all that you do! Your efforts do not go unnoticed!

A special thank you to our sponsors! Also a plug for one of our very own sponsors, Maintenance E, which is a cleaning company owned by our own Coach Tom Rawski. The Stars use them and are very happy with the results. If you need cleaning service for your home or business please reach out to Tom at: coachrawski@lakecountystars.org.

Additionally, thank you to all our youth families for filling out the surveys. There were some great ideas for ways to improve and we plan to take them into action next year!

FACILITY:
I know that over the summer usage slows down, but please remember to treat it with respect. Please take it easy on our equipment (especially the pitching mounds) as we keep spending money to replace the things that are not treated well and this only takes away from money to spend on new items like more pitching machines.  We will do repairs on the netting and turf this summer to keep everything in shape for next year.

GAMES:
At the end of a game, win or lose, please always act with respect and remind your players to do so as well. Someone is always watching and it reflects directly on us, and our reputation is key to our success as a program. Please take a minute to look over the attached parent and player code of conduct so everyone can finish the season strong!

Make sure to keep sending pictures of your team's successes and from your out of town tournaments (send to info@lakecountystars.org and webmaster@lakecountystars.org). Follow us on Facebook/Instagram to see all the great pictures!

PLANNING AHEAD:
The Stars run baseball programs for youth from 8U-14U and we also have an incredibly successful High School Program from 15U-18U which is made to supplement regular high school baseball programs at one's own HS.

Looking ahead to TRYOUTS, yes it is crazy that we are talking about that already but here we go. Current players do not need to try out - with the exception of current 14u players moving into the High School Program.  However, everyone needs to register for next season in order to receive your offer - this includes Youth and High School Programs.  Register here!  Levels and coaches may change but we like to keep as many current players as we can in the program with us next season.

Don't forget to tell your friends to try out! Every player that signs with us for next season that you refer is $100 cash in your pocket!

I seriously think we have the best families in our program. I am very grateful for each one of you and feel so lucky to know so many of you personally. I am just beyond proud of the program we have built and genuinely thank you for being a part of it. Finish the season STRONG and GO STARS!
