Hello Stars Nation!

It has been a great season of baseball for our teams with so many amazing games played. So many exciting things have happened in Stars Nation this year with the best one being our very own Stars Clubhouse! In case you have not heard the highlights, it is a 14,000 plus square foot clean new facility with 24 foot ceilings. Everything in there will be new from the paint to the soon to come netting, turf and equipment-all of which should be up and running later this summer. It will be an amazing home for us and a place that you will be proud of.  Keep up with our progress here!

Look out for more information to come on our grand opening!

The new Lake County Stars Clubhouse is located at 363 Enterprise Pkwy in Lake Zurich.

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO:

  • Chris Pacini-for all you did to make the THREE weekends of our first ever Stars Classic Tournaments happen!
  • Our own Coach Tom Rawski's cleaning company, Maintenance E, for keeping our new home shiny and clean!
  • Aaron Zarkowsky and his firm Honigman LLP for endless legal advice!
  • Steve Appelhans for his tireless efforts to keep our nearly 300 home games going with umpire assignments and field prep!

SEASON 2022 INFORMATION:

We are already getting ready for tryouts and we have a lot of families anxious to try for their chance to be a Star already. Over the next few weeks, most current Stars players will be receiving offers to come back and play for 2022. To lock in your spot and guarantee you have a place on our rosters, just accept your offer and pay your deposit by the deadline.

We do ask that all of our current Stars do their very best to attend a tryout so we have a great presence there and you can help us see where new players might best fit in.  Please go to: https://www.lakecountystars.org/tryouts and sign up for what tryout you will attend so we know who to expect.

Even if you can not attend a tryout due to vacation or camp, please go in and register as we can not send out your offer until you do this first step. ALL CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE STARS PLAYERS must register this through the link above.

If you have any questions on this, please reach out to Cynthia Zarkowsky at info@lakecountystars.org.

FALL BALL:

I also wanted to touch briefly on fall ball. The Stars do not run a formal fall ball league. That being said, if a team wants to play fall ball they can ask their coach to run it or a parent can as well.  Teams can play using the Stars name, uniforms and insurance. For more information on this please reach out to your coach or Anthony Drago our youth director at coachdrago@lakecountystars.org.

Finally, I am beyond excited about the upward direction the Stars are headed in and  am really looking forward to seeing our teams finish strong! Great things are coming for all teams in 2022! As always, GO STARS!

President, Lake County Stars
