Special Program Announcement
Hello Stars Nation!
The 2021 season is off and running – and we know it will be the best season ever for the players, families and coaches that make us Stars Nation.
We are especially proud of the culture that we have built. A culture that values every player and family, that seeks to grow the skills of every boy that chooses to be a Star, and that recognizes how important it is to be part of something great. A big part of our special culture has been having a dedicated facility. We have called the Stars Training Center “home” for some time now.
As many of you know, that facility has been sold. The new owners were not willing to contract with us in a way that would keep our culture of high level training and team comraderies intact. We are leaving the facility and wish the new owners well.
We are delighted to announce that Lake County Stars Baseball is re-locating May 1!
The Stars are featured as one of Chicago's top 10 travel baseball programs for 2021!
We are moving right down the street to a facility that will allow us to be better than ever! A few highlights about our new home that we will be building out this summer:

It is in a new, clean and bright building!

We have 14,000 square feet of space and 24’ ceilings

We will have plenty of tunnels for our players and families (never a charge!)

We will have a field area for infield work

There will be a workout area, a players’ lounge, and a sports doctor on site

As always, there will be no membership fee for our families to use the facility

We are the only tenants
-
It is right in the heart of Lake Zurich
We believe this move is exactly what will keep the Stars moving up and maintain everything that makes us one of the most prestigious programs in the area. And we are getting noticed – having been named a Top 10 program in the Chicago area.
There will be many more details to come including a grand opening and party later in the summer. For now, we need to get to work building cages and laying turf and can’t wait to show all of it off to our families!
April 30 will be the last day the current Stars Training Center will be available. As such, you won't see any availability in Setmore beginning May 1 for cages, etc. We know everyone will be anxious to see our new home. We will share more details on a timeline as soon as we can.
