The roof is (mostly) fixed, and we're ready to go for 2021!

We are happy to say that activities for the 2021 season can begin this weekend, starting Saturday January 9!  Check your team's calendar or with your coach for your specific practice days/times.

High School or Youth Player Cage Time: use Setmore to book your own time in a cage at the STC (this access is included in your program fees).

Youth Player Lessons: if you're still doing lessons, you can book those through Setmore as well with a Stars coach. We are still working to finalize some coaches' lesson schedules, so if you don't see your coach with availability, they will let you know when it's ready.

Pitching Program Available: many of you are aware how excited we are to have added some amazing coaches to our staff this year! One of our new coaches, Cesar Carrillo, brings his wealth of knowledge and MLB pitching experience to the Stars and is offering lessons on Saturday and Sunday (through Setmore) and separately a 6-week pitching program that you can register for here (not Setmore). It starts Tuesday January 12, and consists of 6 individual 1-on-1 lessons with Cesar. Learn more about Cesar on our coaches page on our website, and details about his pitching program in the link above.

COVID-19 Remindersin addition to the safety guidelines we've been following here, we are structuring team practices as follows:

  • Only 2 teams will be in the STC at the same time, and there is a 30 minute buffer between any consecutive team practices to try and avoid too many people in the facility at a time.
  • Practices will be 90 minutes, and you should arrive at the STC no sooner than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled practice time, and you'll need to exit the facility immediately after your team practice (unless you have other scheduled activity at the STC).
  • Each team will have 1 large field and 2 cages, and teams will be split into subgroups of a maximum of 4 players. For example: 4 players on half of a large field / 4 players on the other half / and 4 players in the 2 batting cages. Coaches will be planning practices with this in mind to help with social distancing.
  • Use of baseballs is fine, and players should sanitize their hands as they rotate between practice areas. There is some sanitizer in the STC, but you're encouraged to bring some too.

Health and safety of our players, coaches and family members is a top priority, and we appreciate your adherence to this guidance, and your flexibility if/when changes are required.

Go Stars!
